First I have to say that I make no distinction to "real life" where my computer interaction is concerned... my activity and relationships online are as real a part of my life as my offline interactions.
That said, I have a few Chris-Friends in life: offline would be my friends Joe, Scotty, Mark and Terry; my online friends would be Dianna, Elizabeth, Karen, Len, Pia, Janie, and so many others. All mentioned are friends I value and they've shared the best and the worst moments of my life.
Yes, we all need a Chris in our lives. My online friends mean as much to me as my offline friends. Just because you haven't met someone in person doesn't mean that you can't have a deep and caring friendship with them.
I agree that everyone needs a Chris in their lives. My Chris is a she but she surely is one of my best friends.

I agree! We do all need a Chris in our lives. I would be lost without my dear friends.
